Sarai Felix Gutierrez is a bilingual business leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in finance, administration, and operations. She is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Big Brothers Plumbing Inc. (BBP Inc.), a woman-owned business based in Alameda, California, where she has played a pivotal role in building the company’s reputation for reliability, efficiency, and community engagement since 2014.
At BBP Inc., Sarai oversees financial management, payroll, compliance, and strategic planning while maintaining trusted partnerships with more than 1,400 clients and 12+ property management firms. Her leadership has been instrumental in implementing new technologies, streamlining business operations, and fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth. Beyond her financial expertise, Sarai is deeply involved in staff development, hiring, and training, ensuring operational excellence at every level.
Her career began in administrative and financial support roles, including positions at Oakland Charter Academy, Escoto Construction Corp., and Architectural Design Group. These early experiences gave her a strong foundation in accounting, compliance, office management, and client relations—skills she has since elevated into executive-level leadership.
Sarai is also passionate about community service and outreach. For more than a decade, she has coordinated food and clothing drives, partnered with local businesses, and led special events such as BBP Inc.’s annual Fourth of July parade float, which has become a highlight in Alameda’s community celebrations.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sarai is recognized for her communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and close friends.
